Cherry production is a year-round operation involving the planting of new trees, the maintenance of older ones and the picking season which commences in early December of each year. The trees are covered by nets to protect the fruit from birds.

Cherry Sales - Bishop Orchards currently sells directly into the Adelaide market and also exports interstate through local agents. Cherries can be purchased ONLINE or direct from our orchard from December to the mid January each year.

HOW TO GET TO BISHOPS ADELAIDE HILLS

There are four routes to Basket Range from Adelaide and each one is worth the scenic drive alone - whether travelling via the Greenhill Road through Uraidla, the Old Norton Summit Road along Third Creek, the New Norton Summit Road past the spectacular Morialta Falls or via the SE Freeway to Crafers and through the Piccadilly Valley to Basket Range, all are a great way to see Hills’ scenery.
