Cherries - Australia's BEST Summer Fruit

Cherry production is a year-round operation involving the planting of new trees, the maintenance of older ones and the picking season which commences in early December of each year. The trees are covered by nets to protect the fruit from birds.

Cherry Sales - Bishop Orchards currently sells directly into the Adelaide market and also exports interstate through local agents. Cherries can be purchased ONLINE or direct from our orchard from mid December to mid January.

Bishop Orchard Cherry Sales - 933 Lobethal Road, Basket Range (see roadside signs for directions).

To get daily updates on fruit availability download the new, free Fruit Producers SA Fresh Fruit App at https://fruitproducerssa.com.au/fresh-fruit-app/ and go to the Bishop Cherries' entry.

HOW TO GET TO BISHOPS ADELAIDE HILLS

There are four routes to Basket Range from Adelaide and each one is worth the scenic drive alone - whether travelling via the Greenhill Road through Uraidla, the Old Norton Summit Road along Third Creek, the New Norton Summit Road past the spectacular Morialta Falls or via the SE Freeway to Crafers and through the Piccadilly Valley to Basket Range, all are a great way to see Hills’ scenery.
